Met die laagste re\u00ebnval<br \/>\nin 2017 die afgelope 80 jaar, het natuurlike weiding en voer `n luuksheid geraak, wat min boere kon bekostig.<br \/>\nKuddes was drastiese verminder en nasionale droogtehulp was nie naastenby genoeg nie. Voerskenkings uit ander<br \/>\nprovinsies het groot verligting gebring. Die winterre\u00ebnvalstreek het hierdie re\u00ebnseisoen egter milde re\u00ebns gekry,<br \/>\nalhoewel steeds ver onder die gemiddelde.
